Woman Hospitalized After Shooting In Bristol, Authorities Say

A 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for treatment after shots rang out in Bristol Township on Tuesday night, May 7, police said in a release.

Authorities received an anonymous call about gunfire near Norton Avenue and Ellwood Avenue around 10:45 p.m., township police said.

They arrived and "provided immediate care" until an ambulance took the woman to St. Mary's Medical Center, authorities said.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning and an investigation is ongoing, they added.
